Hi. travelling to Tokyo tommorow (tues 21st aug.)
Will apply for my new E2 visa there.
I've heard it takes a bit longer than in Osaka or Fukuoka.
Anyone know officially how long it will take?
I tried to find out online but the Mofat website page for the embassy in Japan is DOWN! BAH!
Anyone ever done the visa run in tokyo or know anybody that has...?
I'll be there tues 21st until the 28th, so I'm figuring I should be able to pop in to apply on Wednesday 22nd and then go in on Monday the 27th and it will be ready....
Anyone know if that will be long enough?
I heard that if you don;t have enough time, the other option is to pop into the embassy at Yokohama, which I'm willing to do, but would rather save myself the hassle if poss....

That will be long enough. I did it in 3 working days a year ago. |
