|
|
I have two separate Korean subtitle files for a movie. Can I join them into one? The movie is in one chunk so the subtitles don't seem to match the playback.
Do I have to download another subtitle file that isn't split? Where might I find one?
Thanks. |

This is a source of frustration for me too. Sometimes you can find the single file subs but often the CD1 CD2.. ones are the only ones you'll find.
The best bet if you must have subtitles is to do like the previous poster said and click the subtitle button on Gomplayer. Then get the video files to match. |

Yeah, that subtitle button rocks! Very useful feature.
I have found some programs that join subtitle files but unfortunately none support .smi's. It must be possible though as I've seen credits for "joining and translating" in various sub files. |

Yeah there must be software to do that. I'm pretty sure it isn't simple though. I have subtitle workshop which you can edit and convert subs into almost any format.
A friend of mine put me onto subsync, but I haven't had the time to play around with it.
You could try those two if you haven't already. |

If you have access to a friendly Korean, you can always use one of the korean pay/download sites. They almost always include a matching subtitle file for an English video.
www.wedisk.co.kr is pretty good, it has a lot of stuff and is very cheap. (And, no, it probably isn't legal, but then, neither is downloading copywrited material from free sites.) |
