Currently Ireland does not have a joint pension refund scheme with Korea.
If a future agreement is reached I could claim back my pension for the current year? |

I'd love for that to happen with the UK, but have given up on the idea now... |

My boss is so sweet...she's been paying the full amount of the pension the whole time because she felt sorry for me.
This is a positive experience, but there isn't much to be said about it (unlike negative experiences that carry so much 'weight' on forums). |

If you can't get the money back now then wouldn't you be able to get it when you retire? Technically?
I don't know about Ireland, but I think I'd trust the Korean system over the US SS. |
