I just got back from Canada with a new Wii (the firmware version is 2.20U). I took it to Yongsan last friday to get it chipped. Apparently they use the Wiikey chip to mod Wiis here. After waiting around to get it back, I found out that they wouldn't mod my "new" version of the Wii (some things wouldn't work like internet updates - i couldn't get it all coz my korean is limited). Anyone heard about this problem or successfully had a wii chipped?

Something to do with the pins being cut down.
There are mods available but I think they are a little bit harder.
