I'm sure other Seoulites noticed that it was downright cool this morning and the humidity was WAY down today. It's cooling off nicely again this evening.
Hallelujah! I don't think I can afford another 2-3 weeks of air con on my electric bill. I was over the limit on Aug. 14. |

| I sure hope so. I didn't even have to change my shirt when I arrived at school today. |

| I noticed! Today the humidity was 55% at 2 pm. What's the likelihood the oppressive humidity is done? |

| Still hot as a rocket down here in Busan... 28C - 30C daily... lucky if it drops to 25C overnight. |

At school the thingie said 41% humidity, compared to 60% yesterday.
I can't believe it is over. I've worn jackets at night in early September, but not in August. I think it's just teasing us, but then according to that 24 season calendar thing, fall has already started. Let it be. |

Whilst it's been exceptionally wet this summer meaning the heat has stayed down, I believe that it will be a few weeks into September before we get any real relief. Bring on a typhoon. |

| Yeah, it's been a pretty cool summer. Usually there's about 2 weeks where the heat just grips you and you can't even go anywhere without arriving drenched in sweat. But that hasn't happened yet and I wonder if it will ever happen. Maybe next week it'll jump back up and bite us. |

What's wrong with me then? I arrive everywhere drenched. |

| Yeah, I just noticed that. Its 1:30am, just got back to my apartment in Uiwang. Usually at this time of night I have to put a fan next to me and crank it just so little beads of sweat don't run down my back every few seconds (we have no A/C). But tonight, it feels fine. First time I could retire the fan. |

| I doubt fall has come early. It was stlll pretty hot yesterday. But hey, I'd rather burn up than freeze to death. I'm not looking forward to another winter. But last winter was not so bad as the one in 2004 and 2005. |

I think temp has stayed the same but it has felt cooler due to the lower humidity. Let's hope the humidity stay down.
As for this summer being "cooler," I don't know about that. This summer is my 12th summer here in Korea and my first summer always seems the hottest but I think everyone feels that way cause they're not used to it. This summer did have a long but wimpy rainy season. All the other summers I remember there being serious wind-driven downpours but this summer was mostly a long drizzle. |

Is here.
I was under the duvet last night. Had the fan on but it was still cool enough to let me sleep under it.
Lovely. |
