Hi-

My husband and I want to go to Thailand for a vacation after leaving Korea. However, we don't want to carry around all our luggage. Does anyone know of a place to store all of our crap in Thailand? We have a couple very large suitcases and two laptops.

Thanks!

most hostels have left luggage facilities for free just find one when you check into bangkok and leave your stuff there until you get back. If your planning to stay in hotels i'm not sure what the deal is there? but hostels are generally like budget hotels in thailand and you will normally have your own room.

Most hotels have left baggage. I leave my luggage everytime in Bangkok. Price is around 20-30 baht per bag per day. Just remember to lock the bag, you don't want anyone going through your bag.

Another option is the travel agent will hold your luggage so you won't be stuck babysitting it while in transit. I've done this tons of times.

Two laptops though is a bit different.

Normal shite like clothes not a problem but leaving a couple of laptops might be different.

If you stay at a better hotel (not Khao San Road) they might be a better bet.
Try the Banyan Tree in Silom or Sofitel. Both are good places to stay with decent service and I am sure that they will hold your luggage for you.

or leave it at the airport.. 100 baht a day per bag! expensive if you are planning on leaving it there for awhile..
try a trainstation or bus station locker.. might be cheaper...

it'd be cheaper to stay a night in a nice hotel & leave your luggage there. Lock it up though as a previous poster recommended Smile
