... Or alternately, what celebrities do people compare us to?

Back home, people told me I kinda look like Don Adams from Get Smart:

Here, the lcoals compare me to any white male actor imaginable. My most flattering comparison:

I was compared to Bruce Willis the other day. I told the guy he reminded me of Daniel Dae Kim which was definitely more true.

When I first arrived here I got lots of Tom Cruise comments, which are way way off base.

My wife really thinks I look like Nick Cave and in some pictures I can see a resemblance.

people at home never compared me to any celebrities, depending if my head is shaved here in korea i get Thierry Henry and the main guy from Prison Break.

I kind of understand the latter though I wouldnt pretend to be that good looking, in both cases its just a case of being a waegoogin with shaved head. When my head isnt shaved I just get asked if i have a perm.

Before she became really skinny and started making babies with Tom Cruise, I was told I look like Katie Holmes on nearly a daily basis.

Lately, I've heard I look like some girl from the TV show Kyle XY? I don't watch the show so I have no idea who she is or what she looks like.

I've been likened to Robin Zander of Cheap Trick, Owen Wilson, Tom Petty..

Koreans claim I look like almost any famous actor. Silly.
Harrison Ford, Tom Cruise, Leonardo DiCaprio, etc.

My students kept telling me that I was in D-war, so I thought maybe I looked like the actress. I looked it up on imdb, and it turns out the character's name is Sarah.

I used to get Michelle Branch a lot, back when she was popular, but I think it's just because we had the same hair, back when my hair was actually long.

I also used to have a boyfriend who said I looked like Julia Louis-Dreyfuss, Seinfeld-era. But he was in love with that show, so I think he just wanted his own Elaine Benes.

Back home I would sometimes get called Mr Bean. Here, someone will occasionally get excited and say "You look like..." and I think wait for it, they're going to make some absurd comparison like telling me I look like Brad Pitt, then I get..."You look like Mr Bean."

Bald/balding white guys inevitably get the "Bruce Willis" bit. In Japan too.

Trust me on that one....

People have done double takes thinking I was Keanu Reeves, especially when I'm wearing a dark suit. My last girlfriend was a Keanu Reeves fanatic, and that's what attracted her to me.

I guess it depends on the hair. Quite often people tell me that I remind them of Gary Oldman. Once I was told to look like - I kdd you not - John J. Rambo! Don't know if looking like Gary Oldman is an compliment or not, thou.

After I shaved my head few years ago, my that time land lady said that I looked like Yul Brunner! According to her I looked really good, too!

i constantly got "rooney" muttered by people when I walk by last year, which I take as an insult.

One taxi driver said "Bill Clinton." Uh..I'm only 24.

When I got to Korea: Macauley Culkin
Now: Brad Pitt

While I don't agree with either comparison, I'm happy with the change.
