take line #1 until you reach singil, transfer to line #5, get off at omogkyo station (its in the direction of gimpo airport from singil). Its only a few stops from Singil. Sorry, don't know the exit # |

thank you very much bucheon bum!
looking forward to meeting everybody playing tomorrow at mokdong rink in seoul at 8:30 AM(MORNING). i guess it's a good idea to get there a little earlier too, say about 8:00-8:-15 so we don't waste time lacing up our skates and all.
i wonder if i need a helmet?
are you playing bucheon bum? hope so. be cool to meet you. |

The folks at the rink say 'yes', we do need helmets. I went out and bought one today. It was a pricey 65 000 won Bauer bought at Spomax in Yeoksam. I think Hockey Zone near olympic park is the better place to guy gear. I got a nice discount there last time I made a purchase.
My buddy just bought a 15 000won 'roller blade' helmet. It looks like an oldschool hockey helmet (circa 1970). Maybe they'll have some old helmets around the rink that you can use if you don't have one..... |

Get off at Omogkyo and take exit 3. It is a 10 minute walk from the station.

We had a good turn out today.....a few less than expected but we certainly had a good time!!
I hope more of you will join next time. We're hoping to make it a regular thing. The ice is tentatively booked for 7am next Sunday (I know....it's EARLY!) and we have confirmed a booking for the following Sunday (Nov.2nd) from 9am to 10:30
PM me if you need any help with equipment, or directions, etc. or want to be added to an email list for these shinny games. |
