I drank 3 soju last night. And 6 cans of beer and a bottle. I got wasted.

How much can you drink? I think I've drank about 12 shots and 12 cans in regular trips to Seoul. Although it's probably a lot more than that. Depends what time I start, etc.

Like 24 drinks

I don't think I've ever counted. Plus, when you order pitchers of beer and bottles of soju and everyone is drinking out of them it gets pretty hard to quantify your personal share.

But, I guess an approximate answer would be, sometimes, a lot. Usually, a bit.

Yeah, I was alone last night though. Easier to count in the country.

Ha ha! You said you were drunk when you wrote that comment on the azz-wipe thing. I wondered what the heck you were talking about. I bet it was profound at the time? Last year, when I was surrounded by cheap wine in Italy, I used to have a couple of drinks most days after work, watch a bit of MTV and sing along. One day I had a rough day in the kitchen (I was a cook) and went home and drank 2 bottles of red... the next day I threw up all over the kitchen floor at work. I told them I had food poisoning and they sent me home. I reformed.... nothing nice about a booze hag.

I used to hardly ever drink. Now I usually have a shot or 2 of whiskey each night to go to sleep.

Where im at in Korea, there're no people I care to go to bars with, and the bars they do have here are full of hick countryside people, mostly....

When I lived in Shanghai, not too long ago, i was drinking alot more.... Korea does have its good points -- not having too much fun can be a good balance.

I don't!

I got 4 D & Ds while I was a young soldier, the last one was in Osnabruck in Germany which ended with the German plod sticking
a gun to my head. (They tried to set their police dogs on me but they
weren't up to the task Cool )

I was behaving like a berk but sobered up in an instant, never been drunk since.

I had a few cans of boddingtons on the eve of the millenium, I made a descion that going through the Y2K crisis would be better drunk instead of sober, also I would have the balls to put a brick through the window of the local pie shop for 'emergency food rations' if the need arose.

Thankfully at 12.01, Jan 1st, 2000, the millenium bug went the same way as the German police dogs! Rolling Eyes

So I stopped drinking. Been that way ever since!

Title thread was

How much do you drink?

I thought I would contribute and tell you a couple of funny real life anecdotes while I was about it.

It wasn't a pop at you or anyone else who likes a drink to
wind down so just relax mate. Wink
