Korean women have the highest rate of quitting work after getting married in the entire world.

That's a good thing?

"Hey... I realize that you have a university degree and ambitions, but you're mine now. You're gonna stay home all day and cook, clean, look after the children and be a homebody while me and the boys go out for soju and hookers. You're gonna be 100% dependent on me, so that way you can never divorce unless you want to drag your broke ass home to mommy and daddy and be shamed forever. Then, you won't even get to keep the kids because I'm the man!"

That's a great measurement of Korean women's happiness, indeed.

i don't think u understand. a lot of korean men WANT the wife to work, buying a house is expensive nowadays. Rolling Eyes

A silly statement like that leads me to think that the difference in frequency of mentions between male and female commentators is also all in your head.

i guess it could be. just like sometimes i imagine racism in korea is all in the head as well. Laughing

KJ Choi is a really good golfer. It saddens me that an airhead such as yourself seemingly only watches when he is leading so you can log his air time between the female/male commentators. Really isn't there some crap drama/reality show you can be watching?

This is why it was always a mixed blessing to have an Irish person do well in sport so I can listen to my sisters talk this kind of crap about it.

I can just imagine JAD during the world cup, in all his regalia, hair done just right and absolutely no clue what is going on.

There are many female Korean golfers in the LPGA.
There are many female Koreans in America.
Female Koreans in America don't have many Korean-related sporting events to watch.
Many female Koreans in America watch ESPN to support Korean sports.
ESPN panders to female Koreans in America.
KJ Choi is a good golfer, but not handsome.

My logic is undeniable.

Currently KJ Choi is leading in a Major PGA Tournament, and he is not shown in as many highlights as other players in ESPN.

the male commentators seem to try to brush his name off as quickly as possible, and the female commentators seem to try to mention his name as any normal 1st place contendor would be mentioned.

Why is this? Does anyone have any theories?

Are the ESPN commentators Korean?
