I saw my first SOCHI 2014 t-shirt today! I saw a Russian girl wearing it, I thought of buying one and wearing it to PUsan, but from the looks of the koreans in this video, I better not Wink

Russia's beach resort gets the WINTER olympics. How stereotypical can it get?

Speaks volumes about Pyeongchang; Little snow, stuck in the middle of nowhere, no apres ski, bugger all in the way of nightlife, dining, attractions or amenities.

If Pyeongchang had won, that place would've transformed overnight. You would see massive construction projects and that litttle podunk town would explode.

Yeah, but you still wouldn't have gotten enough snow.

Yea, but explode in what way? It's a well known trend for Koreans to push elements of their culture on foreigners which foreigners have expressed little interest in time and time again.

Hence, you might see an explosion of kimchi-making booths, but not much else.

And why wait to develop it? Go ahead and develop Pyeongchang. Why do you need the Winter Olympics to do it? You have enough outbound Koreans tourists. Why not try to attract some of the Korean tourists, who would otherwise be travelling out of Korea, to Peyongchang.

Sounds typical: always looking for something international to validate what it should do.

I guess all of the politicians bought up the land in that area to make a killing off of it.

They failed. I am happy.

Laughing God damn man, you sound like you'd be a fantastic dinner guest.

It sure would have brought a whole lot of women of the night to that cold cold little town. Oh well, they can still show up at the asia games.

Aren't you the least bit embarassed about the way that you post on these boards?

It's kinda sad.

I mean do you have much of a social life? Do you have any friends? Why do you feel the need to be so incredibly hostile all the God damn time?

Go take a walk in the park. Or better yet just leave. You'll do us and most importantly yourself a favor. Get some help dude.
