to boil it down to the simplest:
boss is a biatch sometimes. interferes with my classes, talks down to me like i'm a three-year-old, and actually called me lazy and slow (over some paperwork) in front of other teachers. it's been like this since i got off the plane. this does not keep me motivated and enthusiastic about my job.
however, i don't get screwed on pay or any of that stuff.
asked around about other jobs, just out of curiosity, and the boss of another school wants to interview me a.s.a.p.
i know it's a big pain in the ass to change jobs. i haven't been here very long...maybe i'm just whining. but i have a friend that works at the other place and they get all their lessons and materials provided plus they have bigger apartments.
but i'd hate to screw over my coworkers.
are there legitimate reasons to leave a position other than being screwed financially or a gross contract violation? |

Whether you're being screwed over or not, the problem is getting a 'Letter of Release' from your current employer, which by the sounds of things would be pretty difficult to get.
Without the 'Letter of release' you can't change jobs until your current visa expires, and there is no legal obligation for your employer to give you one. |
