Anyone remember Red Rock?
Used to available in bottles, but not sure if they bottle it anymore (could be wrong, but I haven't seen it in any of the store coolers).
Anyhow, it is still produced - good 'ol draft! My vote is for the Red Rock draft (fresh and ice-cold, not a bad Korean beer). |

Yeah, it's not bad. Available by bottle in supermarkets and on draft at the Wolfhouse in Itaewon. Unfortunately, it was replaced by San Miguel (Philippines) at Thunderbirds in Daegu. |

| San Miguel is up there with Beer Lao as one of the best Asian beers. Nothing unfortunate about that. |

I've never tasted Beer Lao, but I think it has more to do with the conditions that you are in surrounding the beer - good landscape, holiday, peace, and cheap price. |

I only drink glass bottle beer. The best beer is almost any brand here that is in a glass bottle as there is a huge difference in quality and severity of hangover as compared to plastic bottles. Go for glass bottles.
And the best beer here, plain white label Hite in glass bottle and Budweiser in glass bottles. Also, Erdinger is the very best beer found in Korea, but is only available in Seoul such as in Itaewon so it's not on my regular list of beer choices. |

I assume you mean Erdinger on draft, as I've seen bottles of it available (ableit, ridiculously over-priced) in many small towns in Korea. I can't drink from a plastic bottle, but I find that if you pour it into a glass that helps. But, of course, glass or, ideally, draft is the way to go. |

Redrock or Hite Prime Max but I make it a point to avoid drinking Korean beer as much as possible. At one point, drinking 1 Korean beer would equal me throwing up all day the next day. NOT GOOD
As far as Asian beer goes, I haven't tried that many but I loved Mongolian beer while on vacation especially Chingis.... |

They sell Mongolian beer at the Mongolian shops in Dongdaemun - it was ok, but nothing at all out of the ordinary in my opinion. Still, if it stops you being sick that's a good thing! I guess it just goes to show how we're all different. |

| It's Cass...but I'll qualify that and say Cass Red...it's a damn good quick buzz at an excellent price... but really my favourite beer is the one anyone else is buying for me! |

Yuppers!
I think I was just glad to be out of Korea and more or less away from hite, cass, bud, corona and heineken...The joy of something different.... |

| It would have to be Cass Red, as they are all pish, but at least that one does the damage. And, it may sound tragic, but I drink to get drunk. Shame on me. Surely noone can claim with a straight face they drink Korean beer because they "like the taste". Haha, that would be madness I tell you! |

A good beer can taste good at room temperature.
Korean beer like most American beers must be served ice cold.
Then you have to drink it fast before it warms.
I find most Korean beers in bottles to be rather "skunky".
Cans are okay.
Stout can taste good and you can drink it slow. |

I voted for the pee. I would have voted for Red Rock, but it didn't make the list. I thought it was Korean.
I lived in Oregon (land of the microbrew) for three years, so coming to Korea has been the worst beer drinking experience of my life. |
