For anyone living in Bundang, there is a Quiznos opening soon in Jeongja. It is very close to the ilovecookie.com store. It will be across from Baskin Robins.

Awesome. I saw that too. About 15 minutes from my building. Dude at Subway, as nice as he is, just lost my business. Quizno's seriously kicks ass. Too bad it's so farkin' expensive.

I know exactly what you mean. The guy at Subway is super nice and always makes a point to speak perfect Engish, but when we saw that Quiznos sign the other day, sorry brother man! |

Totally. Lately, I've found myself buying 'pity' subs at Subway. Saw them doing up the interior today at Quiznos. Figure at the speed Korean contractors work, it ought to be ready by in a week or so. not sure what to christen the new place with -- a back Angus steak sub or a toasted meatball sub...mmm...quite a dilemma.

Have you been to that newer New York Steak place that is relatively close to Freshness Burger? I haven't been yet, but it looks alright.

Eric's Steakhouse? I've tried the one at Sunae. It's alright, but not great.

No, not Eric's. The name is actually New York Steak (House)(?) and opened at the beginning of July. It is close to Freshness Burger, maybe a two minute walk away from Freshness Burger, walking away from the subway station.

Wow, Quiznos is a global company now too. That rocks, I need one within walking distance of where I work. I used to eat toasted subs for lunch and then I would go for an iced Americano at Starbucks, some days going for lasagna with salad and hot espresso and gelato at a gelateria. It was much cheaper in America than in Korea, so I could do this on a $10/hour job, being single with no little cute ones to take care of, of course. I don't even have one single restaurant within walking distance of where I live and work today so I go to my apartment and whoop it up in a frying pan every day and pour hot water over espresso fine gourmet coffee grounds. Needless to say, I am gaining weight in Korea from frying it all up every day, but I crave hot tasty food, not cold kimcheeeee, rice, and red pepper paste. I tried that for lunch in my first 3 months at the school, but just couldn't get satisfied, so I quit kimchee and red paste and opted for things like hamburgers and fried zucchini in front of my PC. We need ovens here...

I love Quiznos, and I live 1 minute from the Hyundai Department Store at COEX, so I am so close to one, but they are just way too damn expensive.
