Hahaha....I didn't see it until I was 18 and I'll admit that I loved it!

'Hacksaw' Jim Duggan and Big Daddy, I'd hope.

Judging from gyno alone, I'd put Vince McMhan(sp?) himself on the top of the list.

Off topic, but I just found out Mike Awesome died in February. http://www.wrestlingobserver.com/wo/news/headlines/default.asp?aID=18705 Hard to keep track of everyone who's dying. "Crush" died last month, too.

Holy Crap!

I had no idea....

If someone could do a time line of when all these wrestlers died...I shudder to think what it would look like...

On a somewhat related note Eugene has also been released. I always suspected that he was on the juice. Laughing

He was in rehab in the last year due to a pain meds addiction...But with that kind of career choice, is it really a surprise?

Plus his gimmick kinda sucked and I saw a promo that seems to indicate that they have a new "intellectually deficient" superstar to take his place...

I just came across this info...it's sort of long and you might need a pharmaceutical dictionary to sort everything out but it seems to point out who was getting what...

http://www.prowrestlingscoops.com/article/190531204.php

The most surprising names to pop up are Funaki and Steven Regal....They sort of fly under the radar and I always thought Regal and Funaki were sort of pudgy compared to everyone else!

I could be wrong, but I don't think that even the McMahons and the WWE have enough money to bribe all the politicians necessary to avoid direct Federal regulation of drug and "wellness" policies.

The New York Daily News reports that Congress will begin holding hearings on pro wrestling and steroids in mid-September.

To their credit, the WWE is the only organization in the business that has even instituted a drug-testing program, and relatively few (but still too many) wrestlers have died while still directly employed by them...

But the nature of the business is that wrestlers who begin struggling get released and work for independent promotions (including TNA) which have no drug-testing policies...

By the way, here's a very comprehensive and entertaining website covering both pro wrestling and mixed-martial arts (MMA) that's updated daily. It's a pay site, but much of it is free...

No way. It is absolutely inconceivable for anyone to look at most of the wrestlers and not know that they are on the juice. I could care less if the WWE makes them piss in a cup or not, they know just by looking at them that they are on the juice.

Juice doesn't need to be taken year round, it can be cycled, and it wouldn't surprise me if they are 'tested' when coming off of a cycle.

Simply put, identifying someone on the juice has nothing to do with pimples, hair loss, aggression, small testes, gyno, tight skin, whatever. Only a natural bodybuilder knows when someone is on the juice. That is, only someone who trains naturally and knows through hard work and injury how slow muscle building progress comes has the best idea of who is juiced and who, conceivably, isn't.

I don't dispute that the WWE hasn't always encouraged taking growth hormones and steroids, but it's a fact that they are the only pro wrestling organization that has any drug-testing program (instituted after Eddie Guerero's death...)

Of course, it has loopholes. And obviously, Vince McMahon (who's exempt from the testing) has regularly used steroids himself. Without government pressure on the entire industry to clean up its act, it probably wouldn't meaningfully change its way of doing business.
