To save 1mil per month means an average daily allowance of 32,876.

To aim for 10mil in a year instead of 1mil per month means an average daily allowance of 38,356.

These are entry level salaries and with severance and overtime not taken into consideration.

I'm also proud of myself because I am MUCH better with money than when I first came here. After my first year here, I only had about 50 bucks in change, then I got my final pay and bonus. So that's what I walked away from that job with. In the next years, I managed to save about $3000 one year plus my bonus, and then $8000 after 2 years., including bonus. No matter how much you save, eventually you WILL spend it or die and leave it for someone else to spend. You aren't taking it with you....remember that one!

Do you have a coke habit?

The numbers don't seem right, if GDP per capita is $18,300 and middle income earners make 24 -60,000 per year?? There has to be a small middle class or there is a huge disparity between rich and poor. Of course this is true in many countries but often gov't statistics are what the gov't wants you to believe.

Don't forget that in Seoul, wages and the cost of living are the highest in Korea and will be much above the natural average.
