It's been a while since I last processed an E-2 from Canada and I'm wondering what's changed. Questions:

1. Do any of the Korean consular websites work in Canada anymore?

2. Do I have to:

a. get my degree & transcripts (or do they only process original transcripts in a sealed envelope now or is it only the degree that needs to be notarized now & original sealed transcripts are sent) notarized at a consulate?

b. get a photocopy of my passport

c. type up a resume

d. get a signed contract

Send a-d to your employer so he can get a letter of issuance


PS. I had heard that Vancouver would only issue an E-2 in person and then I heard that you could mail that stuff to them.

Best thing to do is call your local consulate and ask someone there directly - It seems to be up to each individual office to decide what kind of notarized documents they will accept, how many copies of your transcripts they require, etc etc. Try to deal with the same person every time, too.
