We all know there are a number of temple stay spots in Korea.

Id like to ask if anyone stayed at that was particularly secluded, let you do your own thing that sort of deal. As you can tell, I am hanging for some time to myself, away from everything and everyone. Nearby swimming holes, walking trails, nature, etc, a HUGE plus.

Thank you in advance from a city-dweller going insane from the lack of "space."

Do you like to meditate and practice lucid dreaming or astral projection?

At one of the main temples in insadong the woman can set you up for a temple stay and may be able to recommend more secluded areas. But from what i gathered all these stays were structured and seemed to fill your day with chores, meditation and chanting. So even if you were in a nice nature spot, you probably wouldn't get to enjoy it much.

I got the same impression. Guess its not a large price to pay for some tranquility thanks for the reply.
