I am trying to see how foreigners perceive Korean beer taste wise.
Do people of certain nationalities tend to dislike it more. I could put like, as I am sure there are those who like it. I have nothing against people like it. I have talked to some who like the stuff. I do like the Cass Red which is new and Stout, but I generally don't fancy Korean beer, and wanted to see how it is generally received by Koreans and foreigners on Dave's.

I'm a Saffer, and I don't mind it.

Mind you, South African beer is not that good unless on tap I think. Kinda weird as South African Breweries is something like the second-largest beer company/producer in the world or some crap.

haha. agreed.

I think its very safe to assume that no one LOVES Korean beer as its not better than anyone's beer offered in their home country.

More interesting 'do you drink it anyways?'. Of course, yes, of course.

There needs to be a poll option for those who don't mind it. I don't mind it at all. In fact, IMHO I think it tastes much better than the cheap, mass-produced American brews back at home like Bud, Coors, or Magnum malt liquor.

But again, just like music and TV shows, everyone's taste is different.

Yeah, certainly I don't place Bud etc ahead of the likes of Prime Max. Still, the quality is not good. But they're always changing it and bringing in alterations so I guess it's only a matter of time before things start improving.

Yeah, why isn't "English" an option?

I think Korean beer tastes the way it does in part to the fact that Koreans rarely seem to just enjoy a beer on its own. There's always some food involved and I think most of the food they eat goes best with light beer - especially the fruit. Cool
