Of course, being among the foreign crowd, we get many opinions about Korean men. They're slim, well groomed and generally take care of themselves well. They're romantic, emotional, and possesive. But, hey, these are generalizations - stereotypes - too broad a brush to paint all Korean guys with.

That said, I've heard very little about how Korean women view Western men.

Ideally, it would be great to get the scoop straight form the horse's mouth, but there are probably very few Korean women posting on Dave's esl. However, this topic has bound to come up in conversations with Korean women, so some foreigners might have some answers to this question.

The only things I have heard are that some Korean women find foreign men unattractive because of our body hair. They also don't like muscular bodies. They prefer slim and cute guys.

I have no idea what Korean women think of western men in general.

While this may happen more often than in Western women, I think it is an over-generalisation. Korean women, genreally, like women the world over, prefer some body hair and muscular bodies - especially when on the pill. It's just a sad fact of reality.

More mature women of decent common sense will realise that a more moderate, intelligent guy is a better breeder for them in the long-term, but this is an issue that extends across boundaries.

some are just intrigued by the face we have white skin, blue eyes, and body hair.

Some dislike us, either they were burned by a westerner before or have their panties in a bunch becuase they look down on westerners for what ever reason.

and some acctually just realize we are people just like them, just from a different culture but we all want the same things in the world.

And some korean women aren't korean women at all, but lady boys.

Cheese- First off, your handle is perfect. Secondly, I now understand what the Korean girls I know were talking about when they spoke of the western guys that made them scared and ill. Finally, can you explain what they don't think about western guys? I'd really like to know what hasn't been thought of in a Korean girls mind about waygook males.

I know most Koreans are generally repulsed by the way white people smell.

Bit of showering and use of deodorant/anti-perspirant can go a long way...

Yeah, assuming the three times a week is spread out you should be doing ok. Anyway, who cares? Smelling of soap etc the whole time is neither natural nor nice. Personally, I'd prefer natural anytime, but of course there is always a balance...

A Japanese woman once told me that white people had "chicken skin" as in not soft. Laughing

Most of the Korean women I've met and dated seem to think of westerner men as the anti-korean. Whatever flaws they find in Korean men, usually jealousy and possessiveness, they seem to think western men don't have this quality. I thinks it's just a case of the grass is greener...
oh, and that we all look like Tom Cruise Shocked
