I have a Mac Book and decided to get wireless internet set up. I get everything set up at my house but when the guy goes to install my software he tells me he can't because it's Mac. I understand Korea doesn't seem to like Korea but there has to be a workaround or something.

Can anyone help me ?

Your computer guy doesn't know crap about Macs, so he just says it can't be done. Do you have an Airport Card? If so, turn on Airport. You'll see available networks in the menu bar menu (top right of desktop). I also have a widget called "Airport" that tells me of any open networks in the area-it's pretty cool.

If you want wireless and there are no open networks near you, you'll need a wireless router (or Airport Base Station). I don't think the set up is any different from Windows. I just set one up a few months ago for my Dad's Windows box so I could get online with my PB while I'm home visiting.

I subscribed to Nespot, but I can't get the thing set up on my Macbook...

Do I have to give KT the mac id of my airport card?

My korean is a little rough, but I went to www.nespot.co.kr and it looks like you need to login with your ID/PW and input your Mac Address somewhere.

If you can't figure out how to do it, just get a co-worker to help ya out....easy enough.

I can pick up by neighbor's NESPOT feed on my iMac when i turn my Airport on.

When trying to pick up new wireless connections on a mac running os x try creating a new location in sys prefs/network. Also drag airport from the net port configs checkbox to the top of the list. Both of these tips are usually helpfull when switching between different hotspots on a mac.
