|
|
Prior to returning for my second year in Korea, this time at Public School, I received all the 'required' paperwork - including a really thorough Health check form. They want tests done on everything from eye sight - gastro, cadio, urinary ( ) , skin, mental .... pretty much everything BUT rate of toenail growth.
I told my school that it would cost too much to do back home, and if they wanted it, they'd have to organise it here.
I certainly don't have anything to hide, or worry about health wise - but still ... ew.
Did anyone else do one of these health checks, or had any dealings with their school about them?
Thanks in advance,

Get it done here...it costs way less than doing it in America (that's where I'm from) and honestly if people are talking about your health in front of you in Korean, you won't know anyway.... |

Agree with alyallen, Takes two seconds here. Sign up to a doctors, always quick and efficient. Costs about 30 000. Some provinces seem to be more persistent with official paper work. They didn't even want my police record. But i paid for it in England.
Didn't realise a lot of things, especially my 20/20 vision. So kinda fun really.
Seems to be more for the health insurance, so not a pre-requisite before you land. Nothing to worry about. |

I got mine done back in the States. My doctor was really cool. He just scribbled down something for each part and viola..done. I was in and out in twenty minutes. I had a physical done 1 month before the visit so we both knew I was healthy. He did recommend some shots..so he did vaccinate me |

A doctor did it here and skipped half the crap. UA? Didn't do it. Conversation was something like, "So are you healthy?"
"Yep."
"OK." |
