That ad is probably more truthful than most. They just made a simple error in punctuation and forgot a few words.

It should read:

Look! [Work Here and You Have] NO FUTURE!

I like the look of this job:

Starting Date: Mid-October
Location: Mapo
Salary: 1.9 mil.won
Working days and hrs: Monday Friday
9:30am 6:00pm / 10:00am 7:30pm
Benefits: Shared housing, medical insurance (50/50), severance pay, paid vacation (summer and winter break), airfare.
Age of students: Kindergarten Elementary
- Prefers North American female teacher.

Anyone applying 'cos I am British and male. Racist and sexist in one job add, perfect.

I think I shall send them an email about this job. See what the contract looks like. It will be fun. Smile

I could negotiate about pension and the other things such as single housing. Anyone else like to send them an email?

I knew of a young female teacher who accepted a contract and found out too little too late that "shared housing" actually meant "a spare bedroom at wonjang's apartment." One should really insist on single housing.

Week 5 for her probably went like this:

I'm sorry. Need your room for storage-eee. You can share my bed now.

Seriously I can't believe that particular recruiter is still in business. I used them years ago and they were dodgy as all get up and holding on financially by a shoestring.

The name is over the top ironic.
Foreign teachers union.

Wishful thinking eh?
