Great movie. This series is the best series coming ouf of Hollywood now and easily one of the top 5 in a long time. Blows James Bond out of the water. |

I'm very torn with the whole Bourne Hollywood series. On one hand, the Bourne movies, as stand alone movies, are very entertaining. However, here comes the old debate about books vs. movies... The books, up until the last one, were just awesome. The scenes Ludlum painted with the back alleys, forests and genuine intrique far and away exceed the movies. Why, of why, did they do complete 180's from the books. But, having said that, the movies were still entertaining but just not the Bourne we know from the novels. |

You cant compare, I dont think. Movies almost always lose to books as far as adaptations go. You just have to treat them as different entities. And heres where directors who write their own stories have an advantage. So really, lets keep the books out of consideration. Just imagine there arent any. The movies have been awesome, and not just compared to the absolute drivel pumped out of Hollywood these days. Its the best franchise going....though it may have a serious contender if the second Batman movie lives up to Batman Begins. |

Saw it.
Dear Jason...buy a hat, some sunglasses, stop cutting your hair exactly the same as your cop file (and every other) photo of you and it may be in your best interests not to tell the CIA where you are.
Otherwise, entertaining. |

I hate the camera work in the movie. Other than that, the Bourne series is awesome. I hope they can make more of them.
I like how they have been handling the series. Next movie, "Mr. and Mrs. Smith 2, Meet the Bourne's." |

I agree. The Bourne series is the best mindless entertainment I've seen in ages, and I don't mean that in a bad way. It's escapism, but doesn't greatly insult your intelligence. |

don't tell me you'd put mr. and mrs. smith along side of the bourne series. mr. and mrs. smith was about the most boring seven hours i've ever wasted in my life. (it was seven hours long, wasn't it? or did it just feel that way?) |

I really enjoyed the last Bourne movie, but the camerawork was pretty sketchy. I hate quick cuts and shaky camerawork that is intended to hide flawed choreography, acting, or performance under the guise of being "action-oriented." |

Right. In the first movie, one of the best scenes was the takedown of the 2 cops in the park. Well choreographed and very intense. In the latest, one cant see whats going on at all until its over....the bathroom scene, for example. |

I agree. Was the camera man tweaking? Why couldn't they hold the camera still? That shaky camera stuff works for when they're storming the beach in "Saving Private Ryan" - it doesn't work when you've got two people talking in a room. Lame. |

I remember reading the Bourne series years ago, before they made the movies, and thinking, "Wow, this would make a great movie." Robert Ludlum's has written a lot of great books in the same style as, "The Bourne Trilogy," but a lot of them centered around the Cold War and might not translate well for today's audience. |

Love that they film on location outside of the U.S.
It's great to see Morocco, Russia, etc. in American films. |
