Are there Chuseok sales after Chuseok?
One of the tourism websites was saying that there are big sales on after Chuseok.
Are they only in department stores or all over? |

I just went to a Homeplus on lunch break today looking, but the sales really are not cheap bargains as usual. Everything, except water and soju is very expensive as usual. Very boring shopping with severely limited options considering this is some of the priciest shopping in the world. Not even a discount if you buy in bulk such as a case of bottled Hite beer.
The only discounts I saw were the out of date produce items you often see, but they are still twice as high of that in America. There were Chuseok boxed fruit gifts on sale, but still pricey. |
