The fact that you're asking for a laundromat is kind of a bad sign. I hope your job and circumstances work out..
Actual laundromats are very very rare in Korea. I saw my first one today actually (and my second! it was an exciting day!). I'd bet money that there ISN'T one in Masan.
But for the washing-machine-less there is still hope. I suggest you look for 'one room' buildings. Often they all share washing machines (for free!!) and they're located in the hallway of each floor of the building. No one will know you don't live there... or if they do, they're not gonna do anything about it anyway.
Someone with a Korean keyboard will write 'one room' in Korean for you if you're nice so you can find a nice shared washing machine.
(PS, on the off-chance a laundromat actually does exist in Masan, the word for it is "bballae-bahng" or more specifically "sel-puh bballae-bahng". There probably isn't one though so don't get your hopes up. Best to 'steal' some laundry from a communal machine somewhere. |

Try this site: http://www.coinwash.co.kr
It's all in Korean. Without a Korean to help you read it you'll
probably have to click on a few different tabs
to find locations. It lists locations in Seoul. |

Man, there are some real uninformed people on this site - there are tons of sae tak places everywhere; a pair of jeans should cost you 2000 won for a good clean, and ready the next day.
Why reply with this 'they don't exist' crap? |

dryers aren't all that common, at least not in hagwon housing, but washers are usually standard. Lots of drycleaners around, too |

My first question is where do you live in Masan? I know of a place near the university that you can take a lotte mart bag full of clothes and she will wash them for 5 bucks. Next quetion what school are you working at that doesnt provide you with a washer? |

When people say "laundrymat" I think of a place with coin-operated laundry machines so you can wash your clothes yourself. There are indeed regular laundry/dry cleaning joints on almost every corner though. |
