Nongshim (who make that shrimp cheetos snack) seems to now make real pretzels. Now it's possible that they've been for sale for a long time and I just didn't notice. They're packaged weird. They don't come in a bag or say "rold gold". Ever try to find maple syrup? You walk by it all the time but never notice it because it's not packaged in a bottle shaped like an old black lady but in a little ketchup squirt bottle and it's called "sweet cake sauce" or something. So yeah. Maybe I've just never noticed.
Right. Odd packaging. They come in a blister pack. Runs about 700 won for a nice hunk. And guess what? They taste exactly like pretzels back at home. They don't taste sweet. It's real salt. No sugar. They've not been pumped up with red bean or sweet potato paste. Just basic beer 'n' pretzel type pretzels. Straight up. No visit to the red door either.
I got them at Lotte department store downtown. Might be fore sale other places:

How much less and how much more? The insecure men ate three more pretzels, while the insecure women ate one less pretzel. |
Just thought you'd like to know. |

I'd rather go to Yoojin-sangga and pay 2000 for a large bag of the imported pretzels. They taste like pretzels from home because they ARE preztels from home. |
