I know that if I have to ask, I probably do't want to know, but this post has absolutely no indication of what the op is wanting to sell. Is it a computer, an mp3 player, a flying saucer?

You're right, if you have no idea what "DS Lite" and "Flashcard" are which are both clearly indicated in the title, then you are obviously not interested in what I have for sale. But, don't go making wild accusations about the contents of a posting (or lack thereof) because you obviously know little about it. Frankly, that was just rude. |

I learned after I made my post that a DS is Nintendo game, but to address your reply, and that of KTD...
Your original post did not mention the type of article being sold, nor the name of the manufacturer. Moreover I did not say that I did not know what a flashcard was, that is just an incorrect assumption you have made yourself.
Most of the posters on this site are English teachers in Korea. However from the language used and sentiments posted, a stranger would never know that.
As a mature (58 years) Australian I am constantly amazed that people who profess to be able to teach other people's children cannot express themselves clearly and accurately, jump to incorrect conclusions, and resort to inane and immature responses.
You actually did not answer my question, which was generated because I have been keeping an eye on postings for a personal digital assistant!
And as for KTD..I automatically gloss over anything he has to say...
Might I also add that in the game of life a little courtesy goes a long way. |

He who cast the first stone..... How can you equate your ignorance with my inherent ability to teach? They have nothing to do with each other. You were the one that told me I had no information available. We are on this particular forum to sell things that people are interested in buying. I don't even know why you had anything to say in the first place. If you were trying to 'correct' me, or gather information in some way, there wasn't any reason for you to make it public. Were you hoping people were going to explain it to you? I would have, with a proper email that had an ounce of respect in it. The title, and the posting have plenty of information for the target audience. A PERSON WHO WAS INTERESTED IN A DS. You might be 58, but you have to earn respect from someone if you want them to provide you with any useful information. Belittling me, and personally attacking my profession because you were rude and ignorant, and iroically, uneducated on the subject is ridiculous. If you are a teacher, where are your people skills? Why didn't you ask what it was in the first place instead of assuming I didn't put any information in the posting? The only regret in all of this that I have, is that you had to make it a public affair. |

in this point, i agree completely ... korea is a haven for retarded foreigners who want to hide from the world. most end up on eslcafe.com arguing about such things in the buy/sell/trade forum.
but you can't blame the op for your ignorance. anyone interested in buying a nintendo DS would already know what that means ... it's not the op's fault that you aren't "up" on the latest technologies.
