Anyone else doing a visa run to Osaka this week? Just thought I'd ask on the off chance there was, and that person would want to get all drunk and disorderly with me while I was there - probably Wed or Thurs night (29/30 October)...

(Thanks BTW to previous posters who've described in great and relaxation-inducing detail where to go, how to get there, and what to do once you arrive. You guys rock.)

In lieu of anyone actually going, I'm planning to stay right next to the Embassy (probably the ex-Holiday Inn), so does anyone know of a good bar (not club, 'cause avatar notwithstanding, I'm not the clubbin' type) nearby, where I can sit at the bar and swill in peace?

I have to go on Saturday actually. If you want, give me a call. We can lounge around the capsule hotel and drink some beers. I can go to Fukuoka as well for anybody else who may wantto go if BTM can't wait until Saturday.

PM me for my number.

Shawn

I mean I don't have to visit the embassy. If anyone is going for the same reason, give me a PM.

Heya (just got my new net connection up at the new house)

Guess I'll just be missing you, Shawn. Plane's booked, and I'll be drinking myself silly in Shinsaibashi Thursday night, coming home Friday.

Ah well.
