OK, I just had a thought.
I download movies all the time, so when I went to the USA 2 weeks ago I brought my sister a bunch of movies. They would not play; she just got sound, and no picture. I did not want to try and adjust her settings, I could have screwed some thing up.
So, I was just thinking, can I let her access my computer and then she can just burn them herself? |

If you trust her, of course you can let her have access to your computer.
Now if you are talking about her accessing your computer to download files off of it in Korea via the internet, that is possible too. She probably needed codecs to make the video play. Codecs are computer codes that you can download that tell the hardware how to process video and sound files. There are many many different types of video and sound files and of course, many different codecs, but it isn't very hard to trouble shoot it in most instances. A common solution is the K-lite codec pack which is free. Get the Xvid stuff too. |

I am in Korea. She is in the USA. I was just thinking that she can burn movies from my computer, and that way she can get them to play.
Is that a good idea? |

Doesn't sound like a great idea.
Just get her to d/l the latest codecs that should sort out any issues. |

| Thinking about it, It would probably be easier to tell her to download utorrrent then send her the links for the torrents. Thats what i do for my parents |

I wonder of the torrent sites would work for her, I tried to access T.V. Links and could not get on it, and when my son was here he tried to get on one of the sites he uses, and we got a message "Out of area".
I brought her DVD'S and she got sound and no picture.
And on that opposite side, I now am downloading movies with picture and no sound, and they are not playing on any player I use.
Thank you guys for your answers. |
