The "Favorite People" thread got me to thinking how much like high school this board really is. You got the prep/jock/cheerleader crowd--oneofthesarahs, rockstarsmooth,peppermint, kermo, and superfly; the loner and/or goth--jaderedux2; the stoners and/or punks--RACETRAITOR, spliff and endo; and the geeks--me, twg, and smee.

That's all I can think of off the top of my head. Which stereotype are you really?

And I hung around with a few girls who shunned the desperate need to wear the latest fashions and all that silly crap. I was only a punk for a short-time, and then I was a metal-head. Where is the option for metal-head? Evil or Very Mad

Maybe Jizzo has classed me as a jock/cheerleader type because of my inexplicably loyal Dave's Fan Club. Being popular on eslcafe is sort of like being the world's tallest midget-- it certainly doesn't reflect the way people saw me in high school.

I was a loner-nerd until I was about 15. Pretty gothy at times, then I cheered up and became more of a hippie-nerd. I was always on the fringe-- never EVER one of the "cool kids."

This board isn't much like high school at all. You've got to be a little articulate to get any cred, and if you don't like the way people see you, you can disappear and completely reinvent yourself.
