Ok so I got my own apartment, and my company is unwilling to help me with anything, including getting my internet hooked up.

How much is it for wireless and Dsl?

And is there service in English? I tried calling KT this evening and got no answer. I don't really have any Korean friends to call for me.

If this was already asked, I apologize.

Go to this website and click on Products & Services. All you have to do to speak with someone who speaks excellent English is dial 100 and then follow the prompts.

The techs who came to my apartment to activate both my Internet and telephone service spoke English also.

I don't understand what you mean, only dial 100? Or the customer service #? Cause that doesn't work when I dial that, I just get some Korean message with Elton John playing in the background over and over.

I believe from your land line phone you dial

100

then 8

then 1

Check with your cable TV company, too. I had cable TV with 50 channels, 7 HDTV channels, and cable internet all together for about 23,000 won last year (or maybe it was 30,000... can't remember).

Was still cheaper than most places, with TV to boot, and it was good enough speed.

That's because you should have tried 100 8 1.
