|
|
I ran across an ad looking for teachers for a winter course. The ad is here:
http://www.eslcafe.com/jobs/korea/index.cgi?read=27143
It states the pay is 25,000 won/hour, for 6 full days of work per week.
If my calculations are correct, that is over 10 million Won for about 3 months of teaching.
Is the pay really that high? That's an awful lot of money for only 3 months of work. |

You can make a lot more by going out and finding work yourself, especially since most kids are on winter break in January and February. Find some privates, double your hourly pay and reduce your working hours by half |

OP: Take privates at your own risk! Rumor has it that there is a cop standing on every street corner in plainclothes throughout Ko-rea. If you are caught they will immediately sodomize you, fine you 10 ga-jillion dollars, and then send you home on a Chinese cargo ship.
This is just what I heard on these boards. It might or might not be true. ^^ |

If you don't die of exhaustion, it's great legal work. |
