Why garlic is good for the heart

Quote:
Researchers have cracked the mystery of why eating garlic can help keep the heart healthy.

The key is allicin, which is broken down into the foul-smelling sulphur compounds which taint breath.

These compounds react with red blood cells and produce hydrogen sulphide which relaxes the blood vessels, and keeps blood flowing easily.

As everyone knows, garlic is a stamina food; all the extra exercise expended on sustained sexual activity is good for the heart as well...and increases the number of sperm.

Side benefit: The bad breath keeps the less than serious customers away and lets you concentrate on the ones who will more likely put out.

For a long time they noticed garlic has some blood thinning properties. So I guess they've isolated what chemical or enzyme contributes to it?

It's true b/c science has now "proved" it?

Until that time it NEVER WAS ANYTHING but wild speculation, part of an old wive's tale, & general hear-say.

Nice timing to report on this, with HALLOWEEN just around the korner & all Twisted Evil
