I once had a superviser suggest we eat Kitchen Kalbi. In retrospect he should have used the Korean Tdok Kalbi |

Man studying English for 5+ years and monkeys seems more logical in this sentence. Oish. Oddly she wasn't the ONLY one that thought monkeys was a better fit than humans. |

Marked an exam today.
Here is the question
Title of the movie Hero Why is he/she a hero
1) 로드 업 다 롱 Aragon He killed Voldemort (sp?)
2)
So the elf from Lord of the Rings killed the main enemy in Harry Potter. Cool.
This is a uni student. |

I was discussing dating customs in other countries, & the topic of "arranged marriages", approved by parents came up. One kid put their hand up, & asked "what's an orange(d) marriage?" |

The problem is that he was apparently watching Lord of the Rong.

I can't find my favorite one, though. I was giving a test that had the days of the week in it. One girl filled in the blanks as follows:
Sunday Monday Tuesday _SWEET_ Thursday _POP_ Friday Saturday
What's even better is that the brilliant genius next to her copied that sh*t. |

What's up with the hand drawn test in the second picture?
I'm not trying to be too picky, but it looks pretty rough, even for a hagwon pop quiz. Drawing #2 looks like a paper lunch bag, or a No Frills/Pams box of cornflakes. |

Yeah, he was probably trying to write "cornflakes" but it came out as "book."
I'd used the same illustrations on the board all semester so they were pretty accustomed to them. My drawing, though, she ain't so great, and I didn't have the materials necessary to do clip-art and such for my second-graders. |

today, the kids thought it'd be funny to write a forged message from me on the board that said:
"There will be no homowork today. - (my name)"
the message was surrounded by the word pizza which was written, probably, about 50 times. these are middle schoolers by the way. |
