Thanks for your helpful remarks kiwiboy. Do you think you could try to NOT be a kiwi lad now that you aren't in Korea? You don't have to berrate something just coz you don't like it. I think we are past that age now.

Um, I meant to say "now that you aren't in NZ" (oops). Linkin Park is in no way my favourite band, but I feel starved for entertainment (AFKN informative segments about drinking water and setting your video only get me so far) so would like to see ANYTHING! Sadly I wasn't fast enough for tickets when WWE came (how sad am I? Don't answer).

I just get really tired of talking to NZers who try and use music and birthplace as a reason for putting down other kiwis. It happens here, it happened in London, and it happens at home. Obviously I'm from Auckland and have had a few crappy experiences lately! This gripe isn't aimed at you kiwiboy, it was gonna come out anyway....

Yeah. I never take music hassles seriously. people like what they like you know what I mean. it's like your food preferences. Who gives a toss? I like RnB so I'm used to most white people hating my music, I just laugh.

Anyone else make it to the concert?

It rocked.
My neck is aching and my knees hurt from jumping. I was in the first 200 tickets so was right up the front, but it wasn't crowded because of the 6-section partitioning keeping people in their little pens.

We waited outside for about an hour while they put everyone in NUMERICAL ORDER!!! I couldn't believe I was at a rock concert. But when we got in it was worth it coz we were guaranteed a good spot.

Some guy with a guitar played a few songs who was very, um, entertaining. Especially when he feel over backwards, kept playing, then did a backwards roll to get up! He introduced one song with "Sing if you know the words!" which was pretty funny, then sang Take On Me. I knew the words sadly.

Pia, a Korean hard rock group played about 4 songs and were really good, then at about 9pm LP came out and played for 1 hour 15 mins. They were very relaxed and talkative which was nice, and the crowd appreciated them, particularly coz the DJ is Korean American and this was his first time here I think.

Was it worth W88,000? Well, I paid the money ages ago so kind of forgot about it. Considering how close I was and how comfortable the crowd was, it was excellent. I don't even know the band members' names or anything about them, but I know a good concert when it hits me in the face, and it was.

Just waiting on the wrestling now. It's gonna be in the same place and the seats, even the cheap W22,000 ones, will be awesome, really easy to see the "fighters". I'll start making my posters this week.

see now that Limp Bizkit have announced a show in seoul, I'd say i was better off not spending money to see LP, and could use that to see LB......
by they way the gigs at Chamshil stadium on the 11th of Dec
