You should look into language exchanges. People are always interested in language exchanges. Popular languages are always easy, but I've seen people who speak less in-demand ones (like Czech, for example) who've gotten people to exchange with them. Also check out university clubs, those are always good. |

Where are you studying? Ask around at any International student network (if one exists), and check with an undergraduate (or graduate, or whatever you are) students society on your campus. I'm not familiar with universities here, so I can't give you more detail, sorry.
In Montreal, my university had an undergraduate student society that had lots of clubs under it. Some had free language lessons. There was an activity night when all the active clubs would be out to recruit new members and advertise themselves, and you'd often see posters around campus for various clubs.
The international students network set up free language exchanges and free language classes run by volunteer teachers, and those who wanted to do a language exchange often put up notices near various departments (East asian studies dept for Asian languages, Italian dept. for Italian, etc), or near the language learning labs. |

Has Branson7 finally been banned?
If not, look for threads with titles like these:
SUPER HAPPY CRAZY INTERNATIONAL PARTY
OR
MAKE YOUR OWN INTERNATIONAL NETWORK
You pretty much show up, speak in English, get drunk and hit on girls while trying not to be an ass for ignoring the guys who want to speak with you. |
