I'll never figure Koreans out. I know that Koreans love nature more than other people, Rolling Eyes but I can't help feeling bad about the indignity inflicted on an innocent tree turned into a garbage tree. Now yesterday I saw (for the hundredth time) another indignity inflicted upon an unoffending tree. Ajoshi (in his two million won suit) blows snot down his nose and inevitably covers his hand in snot in the process. What does this prince do? Why, of course, he walks over to the nearest tree and wipes the snot on the tree. I've seen this a hundred times in this enchanted land and I just do not get the mentality of such persons. What's wrong with Koreans? Are they missing that little inner voice that says "that's inappropriate behaviour."
Now don't get me started on the fruit and vegetable ajoshies who sell their produce from those blue trucks. Plenty-a-time I've seen good ole ajoshi mixing his fruits only to stop, blow snot down his nose, get said hand covered in snot, then proceed to wipe it on his shirt or nearest tree and return to his fruit and vegetables. Yummy. Sparkling.
