| Does anyone know any Fighting Korean, words for fighting with your GF and for punks on the street? Please use hangul, not roman letters! Thanks guys! |

I am going to paraphrase a spaghetti western title (GUNS DON'T ARGUE) and simply state what I learned gorwing up in Bensonhurst:

This book has an entire chapter devoted to fighting. The only problem is the really crappy romanization - no hangul. |

I would like to say I was drunk but the truth is that I completely forgot the GF part and read it that you wanted throw down words for tough times.

I have that same book. I don't think they sell it here. Mine came from Singapore.
Yeah, the romanization sucks and a lot of the phrases are never used in real life, but it's definitely worth getting. It's got the worst of the worst in it and a chapter on making love. |

I saw a book at kyobo the other day called 'How Koreans Talk' it might have some useful info for you.
Usually when I hear them fighting they say; shutup, or I hate you, or 'i die, you die' but I don't know the proper hangul for them. Maybe someone can post them here. |

No, its always "You die, I die" not the reverse. Ni jookgo nae jookja! It comes from one of the Japanese occupations where a young korean woman, rather than become a sex slave embraced her tormenter at the edge of a cliff and forced them both off, uttering, "You die. I die."
Younger koreans usually just call each other kaeseki (son of a bitch), shippalseki (no translation, close to mutherfukker in intent) , pyongshinseki (idiot child) or minchin nom (idiot/lunatic). The Korean words themselves are more severe than the translations. |

| A middle school student called me a michin nom under his breath with a big smile on his face. Didn't think i knew what it meant. I kicked his ass out of class so fast. I am proud to say I knw nearly 90 % of Korean swear words. |

씨발세끼 - or romanised to Shippalseki. The literal translation being Ship - The nether regions, Pal - To Sell, Seki - A child or Kid. Basically the child of a woman who sells her nether regions. Most Koreans are unaware of the true meaning behind it. Change Seki to Nom, and its a guy who sells it, or Nyun for a woman who sells it. ie: A Hooker, but it the harshest possible form |
