I really wanted to get up to Seoul for Halloween Club Night. This kind of timing always happens to me. I have to leave the country to renew my multi-entry tourist visa tomorrow morning bright and early. I was half tempted to go anyway, but then I'd be out all night, probably get drunk and feel like crap all day tomorrow on the way and in Japan. I want to be fresh to explore the city, get some photos and whatnot before coming back Sunday morning.

Anyone else staying home? Say hi here or PM me on MSN.

Yeah, Im kind of burnt out from going out last night and having to work in the morning. That said, the work day is done and I am hoping a little food will jump start my brain. Might go out and see the ghosts and goblins.

I'm on Guinness at home.
Two six packs of extra stout.
I could have went to the UN Compound Irish thing, but I'm dreaming of my vacation in two weeks.
I'm thinking of Macau, not sure yet.

Hey you could be here in Gwangju where they don't have a clue what Halloween is. We'll pop in season 1 of Buffy on DVD tonite

on the upside the US air base here is having a Halloween party tomorrow nite and several of us managed to get on the list to get on base.

That said we wish we were in Austin tonite, 200,000 people in costume on 6th street is a site to see

Yeah, I'm staying in. I'm getting my wisdom teeth yanked out tomorrow morning, and that is not something I want to go through with a hangover. They hurt pretty bad, so I'm not in much of a partying mood anyway.

I'm staying in and having my last (barely) chewable meal before I'm living on jook and ice cream.

I must be getting old. The only difference between this Friday and last Friday for me, is last Friday I worked a lot harder and went to bed earlier.

So yes, I am staying home, soon to be sleeping. (Sad I know, but for some reason I just wake up at 6am everyday and dont go back to sleep - bet that's when some of you guys goto bed after clubing etc.)

I'm 33.. and alot of pretty cool guys alot older than me go out as late if not later. In fact the younger guys are the ones who go home early it seems.

But anyhow, yeah, 6am will probably catching me eating dinner somewhere with a few girls in the middle of HongDae or who knows where.. lord knows at this moment.. I guess thats why its so much fun to go out in Seoul.. but wherever I am.. even if just drinking with a few old friends or new friends.. I'll be drinking a nice cold glass of beer at that time Wink

20 more minutes and I'm out of work for the weekend.. can't wait!

Well a bit of food and some coffee has given me the push. I don't know why I am even going out. Gwangju has zero halloween feeling to it. Anyways it beats sitting around the room collecting dust, (But my gut collects the added girth.)

Yeah, well, not much to do here in Gwangju. Went out for dinner with some of my adult students but that's not at all Halloween related.
Going to a party (sans costume) tommorrow night though. My dad made me stop trick-or-treating when I was 13, saying it was a kid's holiday. Well, it is North American kid's one anyways. I'm not too stressed.

Here is where I was last Halloween. I so wish I could be in Mexico City this weekend. I miss the party spirit of Mexicans. I love some things about Korea, but free spirited hedonism doesn't really exist.
