Did a search and have seen this place mentioned for waxing.

I'm wondering if they only do wax, or if they do sugaring too. I had a brazilian done this summer. (I'm a guy... which might matter with regards to trying to get this done in Korea)

The waxing was not a full brazilian (sugaring was), and I don't know if would have wanted to experience a full brazilian via waxing (the aestheticians were great in both cases... very professional, fast and efficient).

Post waxing I was somewhat sore for a couple of days. Post sugaring, I was completely recovered in about an hour maybe two. Thus the interest in sugaring.

Any constructive info or advice appreciated.

How would that make him gay? In addition to achieving the porn star (ok, maybe not Ron Jeremy) look, he gets some hot chick handling his weiner for an hour or so and applying everything from hot wax to baby oil. It's like a kinky experience that serves a purpose. Anytime I've had it done, it's gotten a positive response from the girlfriends, hookers, hotel maids, and other women I've slept with.

To the OP: I don't think you're going to find anything in Seoul, and I know the Green Turtle doesn't do them, except on females. Neither does Pro-Nails in Itaewon, which is too bad, 'cause the chicks there were hot. The folks in Korea just don't have the amount of body hair that some of us have in the West and I've never even seen anything but hairy beavers in Seoul, so I don't think Brazilian waxing is common there. I guess that's why it's called a Brazilian wax instead of a Korean wax.

You could make the paste yourself if you were really desperate. Here is how to make it here.

I don't know how helpful that would be to the OP because doing that particular area yourself is pretty difficult (I wouldn't try it). But maybe it can be of help to someone else.

from my expert opinion...there isn't much difference in sugaring and waxing other than the product used to remove hair. Maybe you are more sensitive to one than the other. Or had a better waxer. Both products achieve the same results. Not sure of the name but the place above what used to be Burger King, now Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf, in Iteawon does men's bikini/brazilian waxing.

yes i am gay actually...but no im not shopping around or interested in your and/or your friend, i was just asking because i have NEVER heard of a man getting a brazilian...not even a gay one...and i've met my share....maintaining, shaving, trimming etc yes...but a full on brazilian wax seems like the epitomy of homosexuality to me

just my opinion.

I guess I'm the gayest of all then.

I've gotten Brazilian waxes and am not only usually happy with the results, I love it when the chick is waxing me. But here's the kicker. I've worked in salons part-time and done all sorts of bikini waxing on women and gave them pedicures, massaged their feet, etc. To me, I can't imagine a straighter job and I would've done it for free, except I actually was well-paid. My co-workers at my full-time job would always say I was gay for waxing bikinis and giving women foot massages. Now I find out I'm gay for getting my weiner waxed and oiled up by hot chicks? It's like I'm in a parallel universe where straight is gay and gay is straight. It sounds like a good movie plot. Call Spielberg. Laughing

RJ and Dazed... thanks a lot for the informative/on topic posts about places to go. after all that's what I asked for in the original post.

I believe that green turtle is the place above burger king???

If that is true, then the information in your posts are in conflict.

Luna: About the homebrew solution... I'd rather have a pro do the job. If that service is unavailable, it simply isn't THAT important to me. I'll be perfectly happy to go natural rather than an amateur hour experiment. Although, I admit it may be useful to someone else. So thanks for that post too.

It's not gay, it's just fruity! It would make you a tool. The person who a lot of people do Rolling Eyes to.

Since I'm one of those types too, I think it's pretty interesting. Wax seems to f**king hurt and bleed though. Maybe you have a different wax thing going on.

For that kind of torture, I'd rather shave it.

Now a pedicure job just doesn't do it for me. You probably had to touch a lot of the cringe inducing, corn and bunyon covered, knotted wood-like feet of middle aged and older women. I don't want any of that "It ages like a fine wine" garbage. That's like a proctologist seriously saying he enjoys anal. I'm sure you're going to come back with a "I worked as a private contracting masseuse at Cosmopolitan and Vogue model shoots. Guess how they tipped." No, you're on ESL cafe. Those guys don't even know this site exists.

I know you want to make it sound like you had Ivy League girls, cheerleaders, and porn stars on vacation in exotic locales at top notch spas feeding you grapes lustily while you rubbed hot oil all over their tight butt cheeks. For all we know it was Sam's Tan Shack in Montana.

On that note, though, I will say that one time I bought an over priced designer shirt that was as lame, colorful, and on the gayest side of metrosexual. There were some macho American military guys looking like they wanted to kick my ass as I wore it, snickering behind my back and all that. I was actually on the way to go hook up with one of the hottest ladies my eyes have set their sights on, and she was enamored with the shirt before it sat on her floor. I'm willing to bet they went to the barracks with the guys and played cards all night.

this thread has a lot of information about waxing:

http://forums.eslcafe.com/korea/viewtopic.php?t=67370&highlight=waxing

some clarifications for you boys...
green turtle is above the former burger king, what is now coffee bean. they do not do men's brazilian/bikini waxing. i've asked on more than one occasion, the answer is always no. my waxer has told me that she doesn't know any place in seoul that will do it for men.
i haven't seen anything about sugaring, you might be able to get threading though, up around the mosque perhaps? actually, you might be able to get sugaring there too, as muslim men tend to keep themselves very smooth...
there is nothing hotter than a waxed boy or grrl.

rss,

figured you might drop by here as I had noted your posts on related threads.

thanks for the info.

I think I'll check back in a month to see if anyone else has posted something useful

by then the high school kids should have worn themselves out on the fascinating correlation between waxing and homosexuality.

if that's what you want to discuss, why not start a thread???

All I can think of when reading this is the scene in "The 40 Year Old Virgin" where Steve Carell gets his chest waxed. Then, thinking about that, but applied to my naughty bits. Wowch.
