Hey all I've been doing a ton of research about working in public schools in gangwon-do under the EPIK program

from what i gather EPIK sounds decent in gangwon-do. I don't really mind living in the sticks. In fact I prefer it. But I do want to know if anyone has ever had transportation issues to/from their school. I need to live in a place where I'm in walking distance of grocery stores and other necessities.

and also general suggestions on places with good directors, clean places

Thanks for the help.

Go to Gangneung. You wont regret it in the summer. Lovely beaches and close to things to do there.

Some of the smaller towns or villages can really be in the sticks. I live in Yeongwol and really like it. A lot of people like the little bigger towns.

Only really cool people get to live here, even koreans have to pass the super cool test, thats why we are one of the smallest cities in Korea.
