				| I am about to renew my visa for the second time. Before I first came I had to get a physical. At the end of my first contract I simply mailed in my papers from here in Korea. I have heard that you can only renew once from inside the country and that on your third year you must renew from outside Korea. My question is do I have to book an appointment for another physical for this visa renewal, for the upkeep of my medical insurance? I am the first English teacher at my school and they know little about the red tape. Any ideas? Actually any knowledge? | |

				| I'm into my 5th year here (2nd job) & I havent had to leave for a new visa. Talk to immigration. Medical checkup for health insurance? Thats a new one to me. I'm with epik which does require a perfunctory annual once-over in my province but I dont think its the norm in the industry. | |

				| If you're here on an E-2, you do not need to have a physical to renew your visa nor do you need to leave the country. | |
