Hi all
I will be arriving in Korea around 24th December with my fiancee. We are planning to spend a week in Taipei before I start my contact in the first week of December or thereabouts.
My preliminary research suggests that Seoul - Taipei return tickets would cost around 500,000 KRW.
Can we get them cheaper than this? Also, can anyone who has travelled to Taipei City recently give an indication of costs for a week - 10 days on the town?

| Costs? A bit cheaper than Korea for food/accommodation. Taxis more expensive but other transport is similar. If you stay at a cheap hostel, you can get by on 30 000 won a day pretty easily. 50 000 won is living it up. |

Check the China Air (not Air China) or EVA Airlines websites. They often get down as low as 240k won.
A week for 2 in Taipai can easily run to 150k won per day but you can cheap out for as little as 50k.
It all depends on what you want to do, where you want to stay and what you like to eat.

My wife and I have tickets to go on December 29th, and we paid a little over 300,000KRW through Top Travel. |
