I know how MY male friends think. My STRAIGHT male friends are not homophobic and thus don't call gay men "boys." They call men men.
If the rest of you "men" think that gay men aren't men just because they don't sleep with women, well, that's your issue. I guess things are like that on planet Jinju. I'm just glad that the people I choose to associate with--aren't from planet Jinju (or his fuk buddy planet Tony Baloney, for that matter). |

No I was refering to Jinju's assertion that the idea that men and women simply cannot be friend.
The idea that gay men are not men is retarted.
However, what I think Jinju was refering to (at least I hope) was that homosexual men aren't what he was getting at when questioning the idea that men and women can be truely friends. Basically he wasn't questioning if they were literaly men, but instead he was questioning their manhood.
But serously when society defines its ideal image of a man, it's basically a heterosexual alpha male.
Now the gay men that I've met in my life have been for the most part cool. I respect them not for their sexuality but their personality.
But at the same time they do take it (if you know what I mean) and it's just hard to see them as real men.
However, I feel the same way about men who have primarly feminen characteristics. Gay or straight. |

haha thanks y'all for the honest info. I was inwardly denying that not ALL guys could be like that.... but I was wrong again gahhhh!!!!!  I truly have the worst luck with guys even those that I thought were friends! I seriously think I should just turn into a lesbian now. |

But it doesn't mean that's all he wanted. I'm sure if you have no feelings for him and he has a girlfriend, that the two of you could still have a fun time without anything erupting. It's easily done. Just becuz he might like that to happen, doesn't mean that if it doesn't he won't have enjoyed himself with you.
Myself, I don't think it's ever quite worked out like that. A week with nothing going on and then all of a sudden, after a short night of drinking, whoops. That's how it always ends up but I'm sure there are people who are different than me out there. |
