For some reason the Korean is scrambled on my computer screen. That's weird. Can other people read what the OP wrote?

i had trouble seeing the korean characters too ... but changed the encoding, and now i can answer your question:

앞맥 - ap mak - are chinese characters. ap means pressed, mak means 'bori' which is barley.

so ap mak is barley that is exposed to humidity and heat (which makes it fat) then they press it flat.

할멕 - hal mak - are chinese also. hal means divided, mak is barley again.

so hal mak is barley that is cut in half lengthways and then grinded (the same grinding process used for rice).

hope that helps! Smile
