See the problem? Some people don't understand the concept of a "thread." Those people are ruining the forum. It's immaturity at it's finest, and I guess the "moderators"

I'll just start with this joke! Anyone else writing this and I'd have taken notice. Maybe you and Jinju have a lot in common. 9/10 of your posts are immaturity personified. And this post is complaining about something you do yourself. Pot and Kettle here.

I miss those days.

I remember when Ice cream tasted good and swapping football stickers was fun. It's called moving on.

Anyway on topic. There are the multiple thread culprits. They know who they are. I just make a point of not posting on them. The evolutionary thread is an excellent example for keeping one thread for a topic and it's one of the longest on the forum. Keeping the 9/11 threads down to one really wouldn't be that hard.

Of the Mods I only really see Kanuckistan making the effort to engage people and look active. And accept the point it wouldn't take long for them to go through and delete duplicated threads. If people knew that if they duplicated they would get deleted, then they'd start to post on the original threads, and after a short time would only post on the original. Seeming as the majority of what is written is so original. Rolling Eyes
Or maybe this is being a little optimistic.

Joo is the perfect example of a hand maiden for his government, if we get hammered with that crap every day for the whole of our lives then we might finally believe it and nod our heads accordingly.

Noob, stay out of topics you don't understand.

Noob, very good. I think Pikanese knows when he's been:

I think you would just like to shut up everyone with a different opinion.

Lets not forget being anti US is your hobby.

How much do the mods get paid?

Who pays them?

I don't expect the mods to read every thread.

I don't expect the mods to act on every complaint.

They were quite swift in responding to the swinging pickle post the other day.

I would like to thank the mods for being swift and dilligent and fair .

May I suggest tha tthe mods make a rule that conspiracy theories belong
in the off topic forum unless accompanied by a current event, like a news
paper article, or maybe we should have an entire forum dedicated to
conspiracy theories.

I originally intended to ignore you, but I have discovered something that I think requires my attention.

See, I'm almost embarassed to admit it, but I think you have a little crush on me. I know that you'd never admit it, but it's hard to ignore the tell-tale signs and innuendo that you constantly display on this forum. I'll show you what I'm talking about.

Signs that Dome Vans has a crush on Pligganease

1. Pet Names It's a sure sign you have a crush on someone when you create cute pet names for them. Common pet names often resemble the names of cute animals or things, such as "Teddy Bear," "Pussycat," or "Sweetie-Pie."

Dome Vans has created the name "Pikanease" for me. I assume that to be a poorly-spelled derivation of the word "Pekingese," a cute and cuddly breed of dog from China.

Why would you give someone a pet name of an animal so cute and cuddly unless you just wanted to snuggle right up to him and nuzzle? It's a sure sign of a crush.

2. Following the Object of the Crush Around It's a sure sign of a crush when you go out of your way to be where the object of your crush is. It seems that no matter where I go, Dome Vans seems to follow. Granted, where I am is usually the cool place to be. However, it seems that even places where Dome Vans shouldn't be, such as threads about the way the forum was in the past, there he is. That also leads me to my third point.

3. Always Vying for the Attention of the "Crushee" It alsways seems that no matter where Dome ans appears, he's always vying for my attention. He seems to always post to me, whether it be on topic or not.

"Hey, Pligganease! Look at me! I'm here! Pay attention to me!"

While flattering, it can get to be rather annoying. It's obvious that the love is unrequited. The self-deprecating act of screaming and crying for the attention of the person on whom you have a crush is another clear sign of the crush itself.

4. Thinking with the Heart, not with the Head Many of Dome Vans cries for attention from me are emotionally charged wrecks. Logic lacking, these posts are designed for one thing: get attention anyway you can. The head would tell him after numerous times that using those tactics will only result in his further embarrassment. However, he's thinking with the heart. The heart knows no consequences. Thinking with the heart and not with the head is a sure sign of a crush.

5. Risking Ridicule in Order to Show Your Love Another, and maybe the most telling, sign that you have a crush would be the willingness to face almost certain ridicule in order to show the "crushee" the way you feel. There have been times when Dome Vans has been utterly destroyed by me. I practically proved that he couldn't read. Yet, he's still willing to come back and face it again just so he can show me how he feels. It's flattering, again, but a little pathetic.

6. The "Crusher" Barely Knows the "Crushee" We have only spoken briefly throughout Dome Vans' brief time on this forum. It's a sure sign that it's not love he fells, but merely a crush. Love takes time to develop, and we have not had that much time together for that love to blossom.

So, Dome Vans, I'm going to show you a list that might be able to help you. If you answer these questions truly, it might let you acknowledge that what you feel for me is not "love," but simply a crush.

Please, read and answer those questions with an open and honest heart. Then, let these unrequited feelings go. I think that it will be very good for you.

mods are like drummers or goalies: the best ones make it seem like they aren't there most of the time...

i think the mods have been doing a great job, and this thread is proof of that... i rarely see anything abusive, racist, or sexist that isn't taken care of quickly and i personally like less control instead of more... after all, no one is forcing you to surf here... sometimes threads get subverted but i find that the posters usually do a good job of keeping things in line...

Ah, the reason you can't ignore me is the fact that I am so damned loveable. You're like the school bully (meathead, stuck in his ways, not clever) who's secretly in love with the class beauty (me, beautiful, intelligent and going places) It's perfectly ok to have these feelings.

The picture of the dog is excellent. Small, furry and harmless.

And I love the idea of me following you around.
