okay.....however its spelled.....I need it.i want to make ginger snaps....any idea where I can pick this up?

The only place I've ever seen it is on base. Too bad you didn't post this last week. I gave a jar to a friend of mine. Your next best bet is to try the store in the basement at the Volvo building in Hannam-dong.

Hanam supermarket has it. I buy molasses to make cookies. It's at the imported store in Hanam supermarket, also in the red door store down from the Burger king in Itaewon.

It's called 당밀 in Korean, and I bought a nice big jug of it online a month ago at a baking supply shop:

It work great in gingersnaps! (and on cornbread or cream of wheat)

I've also used the ultra dark brown sugar, and it's turned out fine--a lot of recipes call for a mix of white/brown sugar plus mollasses, but brown sugar is really just white sugar with the molasses still in it, so you can get pretty close.
