Is there a good place to get a meat grinder in Korea? I just bought a load of venison, wanna make my own sausages. For that matter does anyone know if a blender can properly mince meat? I do know where to get one of those.

'Old Town' in Itaewon, five in the morning on a Sunday? That's yer meatgrinder right there, dude.
Otherwise, ask the Austrian butcher at the bottom of the hill, underneath the Wolfhound pseudo-mick pub so popular with the foreigners. Everybody loves the pseudo-mick.
Austrian bro, the only proper metzgerei in Korea, grinds his own gear, wild pigs and free range cows and what-have-you, so guaranteed he's got a grinder. Ofer him a cut of your deer, he'll probably say 'sure.' At worst he'll ask you for money, or tell you, at least, where he got his grinder.
It's called 'chef Mielli deli' or something to that effect.
His sausages, btw, are the best by far in the whole bloody continent.

I'll check that out the next time I'm in Seoul, at the very least to taste the man's ware's. Anyone else have experience with making their own hamburger or sausage in Korea? Will a blender do? Can I get proper equipment at Lotte Mart?

So I'm one of the "freakiest waygooks" because I love deer meat? Christ, aren't there any other Northwoodsers/ former hunters on this board?

It's like 4000 won a pound at the Muslim "Foreign Market", y'know.

The area around Majang Station has several small shops selling commercial-grade meat grinders.
