Hello all,
I'm sorry, but I've been reminded that a used MMORPG game is useless to others. My bad. No deception intended.

Is FFXI any good? I've been contemplating a purchase for the past year.... |

It's pretty good. It depends on what you like. You only get one character, you must pay an extra $1 a month per additional character. You must also group for everything; last time I played, which was a few years ago, only one class was capable of soloing to any respectable level.
So, if you like grouping and don't mind waiting to form a group each night, it can be fun. Personally, I liked WoW and EQ2 FAR more, but they just appealed much more to my style of play. |

i haven't played in MMORPGs in a while, but aren't CD keys tied to your accounts? so if you sold your CDs and CD keys, you would have to deactivate/delete your account as well, for the new owner to make his/her own account? otherwise it would make no sense to buy more than one copy of the CD.
so when you say you are not selling your account, do you mean you're deleting it? i'm just curious how MMORPGs work these days. |

Cool you're selling the CD's without the account. You can download those games LEGALLY from the game publishers websites. Also, yeah they won't do much good without your CD key / account being tied with em...
I guess someone can pay if they don't feel like turning on the PC and walking away during the 3 hours it will take to download.
**edit** I know for sure WoW and EQ2 are both free downloads for the software, not sure about FF11, wasn't sure it was even popular anymore heh. |

Aarontendo - I'm sure you're thinking of the trials being available for download. You still need to buy a game with a CD key to create an account you play past the trial period (10 days for WoW) or beyond the newbie island, as is the case with EQ2.
Nevertheless, I had forgotten that you need an original key to create an account. Sorry folks. My accounts are inactive, but I doubt that will allow you to use my keys. |

well, you could sell the accounts that went along with it. might net you more money if they're higher level. |
